Kathleen E. Shepherd-Segura
Since childhood, I had a camera. I never had a toy camera like most toddlers because I had a real one. Once I even made a camera. My grandfather Shepherd was an amateur photographer who had all the latest lighting and cameras of the day. His father in law my great-grandfather Doherty worked as a professional photographer in Germany for AGFA. This history gives me an insight into my passion and what may have attracted my grandfather to my grandmother in the first place. Today my grandfather and great grandfather are probably haunting me and wishing they could take just one more photo with my phone.
